Kim Kardashian has been mum-shamed by her followers for letting her daughter North West wear massive hoop earrings.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 38, posted a snap of her doing a "pinky swear" with North, six.
Kim had captioned the picture: "Besties for life!!!"
The snap certainly proved popular among her 147 million followers with nearly 600k liking the photo within the first half an hour of posting it.
While the first followers were full of praise for the sweet snap, but the mood in the thread turned ugly as the size of North's loop earrings started to become the focus of the photo.
One wrote: "Cute but those giant hoops for a little girl??"
While another commented: "North has no business wearing hoops that big at what, 6?
"They’re gonna pull on her little holes."
A third concerned fan added: "Hey I know youd like to see your kids all stylish and cool. But she's too small to be wearing such a big hoop!
"Will affect her ear hole in the future. Two sizes smaller would have been okay."
However, many of Kim's behalf defended the star and insisted she has the right to dress her kids as she sees fit.
One wrote: "Kim isn’t wearing earrings, so I assume she took hers off to let North wear them for fun.
"She (North) probably asked. Her ear will be fine bc she probably didn’t have them on long."
It didn't matter to Kim's sister Khloe, who agreed with the sentiment written with the post, replying: "You two are amazing!!!! Besties for life."
