Kim Kardashian 'mortified' by the response to her business advice for women

Kim Kardashian is "mortified" by her controversial business advice for women after Khloe called her out on the comments.

In a teaser for The Kardashians, Khloe dishes her sister some home truths about her infamous Variety interview.

In March this year she said: "I have the best advice for women in business. "Get your f***ing ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days."

Fans will now be able to see what her family thought of her comments at the time. When Kim asked if Khloe had seen the backlash from the interview, the Good American founder snapped: "No one sympathises with you.

Kim replies: "I'm mortified, I do understand why people were upset."

Taking a slightly softer approach, Khloe reassured Kim: "We've got this, we're built for this."

Kim was branded "tone deaf" and "out of touch" by the interview, which was also shared as a video.

She addressed the controversy during an appearance on Good Morning America, where she claimed that her comments were "taken out of context" by Variety.

She claimed that Variety's Chief Correspondent Elizabeth Wagmeister was insinuating that she was just "famous for being famous", which she said got her back up and made her "tone and attitude change".

But the journalist who asked what Kim's advice was for women in business hit back and said that she simply asked her a "very direct question".

"It’s not what she claims," Elizabeth tweeted.

"I just reviewed the raw footage. The question was very direct: “What would be your advice for women in business?” The question about being famous for being famous came after that question, actually."

Many fans said that while Kim has done well with her multiple businesses, she had the head start of millions of pounds - which many women in business don't have.

In the clip, the new series teased details on new mum Kylie opening up about the struggles of being a new parent.

In between tears, she tells her sister Kendall Jenner that she "cried for weeks" after the birth of her son.

"I should be really happy right now, I just had this new baby," Kylie explains, before adding: "But I cried non-stop for like three weeks."

She had her second child in February and after naming him Wolf, she had a change of heart.

Opening up about how she was feeling in June this year, she wrote: "I just want to say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy. It's not been easy, it's very hard. This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter."
