Not satisfied with taking over the make-up industry and gaming world, Kim Kardashian has returned back to her fashion roots by creating a new lingerie line.
After the closure of their DASH stores, Kim has made a play in the clothing game with her bizarre 'solution wear' collection.
All the usual culprits are there, like one-piece bodies, high-waist pants, and seamless bras, but there's also an unusual addition that has caught attention.
Kim has includes one-legged shorts which she claims is something he needed in her own wardrobe, for all those one-legged trousers and thigh-split dresses she wears.
Sharing launch images from the collection of the shapewear brand called 'Kimono', she explained it was a passion project and includes different skin shades.
"Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years.
"Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work."
It appears the one-legged solution proved popular with her pal Chrissy Teigen who wrote in response: "Oh my god I don’t have to cut one side of my Spanx anymore!!!!!"
Kim went on to explain on her Instagram : "I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn't find a shapewear color that blended with my skin tone so we needed a solution for all of this.
She explained of the 'solution short': "I developed this style for all of those times I wanted to wear a dress or skirt with a slit and still needed the support."
Kim has always been vocal about her love of wearing Spanx control pants and is often spotted in underwear as outerwear.
She has been caught on numerous occasions with the control pants peeking out from under her glamorous red carpet wardrobe so it is only fitting that this be her next business step.
TMZ report that Kim's range will be available by the end of the year.
