Wall Street Journal Magazine’s annual Innovators Awards was held on Wednesday night at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Guests included Kim Kardashian-West, Kanye West and Gigi Hadid.
The awards honored eight thinkers and entertainers including Julianne Moore, who won the 2019 Arts & Activism Innovator, and Burberry's Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci who picked up the 2019 Fashion Innovator award.
Kim and Kanye were in attendance to present Tisci with his award and arrived on the red carpet decked out in Burberry. Kim wore an all-denim look with an off-the-shoulder corset top and jeans with lace-up blue leather boots.
Hadid also turned out to support Tisci in an elegant baby blue puff-sleeved dress and shared her support for the designer on Instagram.
Irina Shayk turned out dressed in a sparkly beige three-piece suit, telling WSJ that Tisci is bringing “new energy, new life—something that changes people’s lives.”
Tyler The Creator was honored with the 2019 Music Innovator Award. During his acceptance speech, he said, “my whole life I felt like a stepchild… WSJ finally made it feel like that family was celebrating my birthday, so thank you.”
Julianne Moore who won her award for her focus on gun control reform, wore a full length long-sleeved jeweled black dress and matching patent leather shoes.
