Kim Kardashian has returned to social media with lengthy blonde hair after briefly revealing much shorter 'natural' locks.
The reality TV star, 42, took to Instagram this morning with photos that showed her with waist-length platinum blonde hair, with dark roots visible.
The photos showed Kim posing with her eldest son Saint West, seven, as they hugged wearing matching red festive pyjamas.
The post has attracted almost a million likes on the platform. Alongside the photos, the Kardashians star wrote in the caption: "Night!" alongside heart emojis.
Kim must be wearing a wig or hair extensions in the photos after fans were surprised to see what her natural hair looked like in a candid video shared to TikTok by her daughter North West, nine.
The clip - which was shared on Christmas Eve - showed the mother and daughter lip synching to Baby, It's Cold Outside. Kim was seen, with apparent wet hair, sitting on a bed.
Kim's hair, although not it's natural colour in the video, appeared much shorter than usual - suggesting that it's what's underneath any extensions or wigs she may wear.
The new platinum blonde with dark roots is the third hair style that she has sported in recent weeks, along with honey-blonde and black locks.
She has undergone various hair transformations over the years, including going platinum blonde for the Met Gala last year - where she resembled the late Marilyn Monroe.

Months after she had bleached her hair for the event, she's more recently had honey-blonde hair.
She showcased the look at events last month ahead of Christmas.
She's also had dark locks in recent weeks too, including in a post to mark the New Year in which she was seen with black hair in a series of photos shared on Instagram.
She was photographed with that hair colour just weeks ago too, whilst at a festive party that was hosted by the Kardashian-Jenner family to celebrate the holiday season.
