Kim Kardashian fans are beginning to smell a rat when it comes the reported romance with Saturday Night Live comedian, Pete Davidson.
The 41-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been linked to the comic, 27, who is renowned for whirlwind romances, since the pair kissed in a Disney-inspired sketch on SNL, when Kim was hosting.
Kim and Pete were then seen holding hands over the Halloween weekend before going on a couple of dates in New York.
Fans are getting sceptical about the nature of the relationship, though, and have started speculating that it is a "PR stunt" being engineered by momager Kris Jenner for the family's new reality show on Hulu.
The Kardashians are currently filming their first series of the Hulu reality show and fans have speculated on social media that the dating rumours have been "orchestrated" by Kris, to whip up interest in the family's new TV venture.
The suspicions about the romance have been fuelled by Radar reporting that Kim and Pete's first date in New York was filmed by a camera crew.
Pete is also said to be "loving" the attention that is coming from the speculation about his relationship with Kim.
Writing on Twitter, one perplexed fan wrote: "We’re all in agreement that this Kim Kardashian x Pete Davidson is a PR stunt orchestrated by Kris, right?"
Another tweeted: "Pete Davidson & Kim Kardashian now?? They have Kris working OVERTIME for that Hulu show."
A third commented: "kim kardashian and pete davidson??? in this economy??? say what you want about that family but kris jenner is the best PR manager of all time".
There has also been speculation that Kris had leaked the photos of Kim and Pete holding hands when on a rollercoaster ride at Knotts Scary Farm.
After the the Halloween date, Kim flew to New York to accompany Pete to his favourite restaurant, Campania, in Staten Island.
A source at the restaurant told Page Six : "Pete arranged a dinner on the rooftop privately. It was just the two of them.”
The insider added that they were able to “quietly sneak in and out" and did not have any security with them.
The pair reportedly hit it off when Kim was hosting SNL last month, with the reality star surprising fans by kissing the comedian in a sketch.
Dressed as Aladdin, Pete had joked that he might not be able to handle his partner "sexually" due to her being "a lot of women".
Kim, dressed as Princess Jasmine, replied: "Aladdin, don’t worry. I’m sure that you’re more than enough man for me."
