Kim Kardashian fans have come up with a theory as to why the reality TV star has been mainly wearing Balenciaga bodysuits and gloves lately - a psoriasis flare up.
The 41-year-old has been snapped covered from head to toe at some key events, including the Met Gala and her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live.
In fact, she had such an array of outfits from the designer in 2021, that she uploaded a collage to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to showcase them all.
And now some fans are questioning whether the bold fashion statement is in fact a way to cover up her skin.
One Reddit user shared their thoughts, writing: "Maybe someone has already said it, but I'm wondering if her psoriasis has been really flaring up this year due to stress- like the divorce.
"Which would make PERFECT SENSE as to why she's only been wearing body suits for the past few months.
"I know she has great resources around her to fix it, but I've heard that big flare ups can be super tough to manage and even cause scarring. What do y'all think?"
According to the NHS, psoriasis is a condition that causes "red, flaky, crusty patches of skin covered with silvery scales" and is most likely to appear on a person's elbows, knees, scalp and lower back.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's outlandish pink bodysuit on SNL caught the attention of viewers and she's been mainly sporting the body-hugging outfits in public appearances since.
She recently told the Wall Street Journal that she is finished wearing the loud outfits she was previously known for.
Kim said: "I had a few moments. I had some fun. But I’m back to minimalism."
The star, who is dating comedian Pete Davidson, shared snaps earlier in the week from her family's luxurious annual Christmas Eve party.
However, the 28-year-old was nowhere to be seen despite the pair have been growing closer after in the last two months.
The mum-of-four took to her Instagram to share a few gorgeous photos of their festive celebrations with her 274 million followers.
"Christmas Eve 2021," she simply captioned the series of photos which included the entire Kardashian clan and their children.
The kids were also fully covered in stylish outfits, with her girls in pink and her boys in black.
Many of the snaps showcased her kids - North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two - playing with each other while Kim attempted to pose for the camera.
