Kim Kardashian claims second series of The Kardashians is 'seriously deep'

The second series of The Kardashians is set to air this week and Kim Kardashian has told viewers to expect "seriously deep" content.

The reality show follows on from the family's previous hit show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which graced the small screen for 20 seasons.

Now, speaking to Michael Strahan on Good Morning America, the SKIMS founder has opened up on why the first episode of The Kardashians hasn't had any promos as it doesn't need them. The 41-year-old told the morning show host: "We haven't done any promos on it. We're not going to. It's, like, a really, seriously deep, vulnerable episode that we really haven't talked about."

While the star didn't reveal exactly what would be discussed in the episode, she told viewers that it will get personal for the family. She continued: "I just think that you see me making decisions for myself. Obviously, always thinking about my kids, but generally, just doing things for myself."

She also told Michael how being criticised for over 15 years because of the show has "got easier" and praised the support of her family. "I think you just get to a level where you see that so much of it is noise and we have each other, we have us as a support system. I couldn't do it without my family."

The new series was filmed during Kim's short-lived relationship with Pete Davidson, but the former Saturday Night Live comedian, 28, isn't expected to feature heavily in front of the camera.

The duo spend nine months together in a highly publicised companionship, but the comic is said to have called time on their relationship because Kim had "too much baggage".

And although he did feature in one trailer for the up-coming series, it's reported his part in the show will be minimal. In the clip, Kim told the cameras: "Life is good. I have a new boyfriend, and I am just having a really good time.

The now ex-couple then became a focus as they prepped for Met Gala. Kim was caught on camera giving her man a racy invitation in front of Khloe Kardashian. "Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?,” she asked the comedian.

Despite the clip being a main feature for the trailer, a source has confirmed Pete is just a bit part. Speaking to Page Six, the insider commented: "He’s in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete."

They continued to say Pete is "a very private person" and acknowledged that Kim "was always super respectful of that".
