Kim Kardashian was blasted for showing off a $2,000 coat after her controversial work comments.
The 41-year-old faced a vicious backlash earlier this week, when a video from an interview for her and her family’s cover story with Variety went viral.
In the clip, Kim can be seen alongside mum Kris Jenner, as well as sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, and the SKIMS founder is asked if she has any advice for women in business.
“I have the best advice for women in business. Get your f**king a** up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days,” she fired.
Momager Kris and older sister Kourtney nodded in agreement with Kim’s statement, as the mum-of-four continued: “You have to surround yourself with people that want to work.
“Have a good work environment where everyone loves what they do because you have one life. No toxic work environments and show up and do the work,” Kim added.
She was branded “delusional” by some of her social media followers, and they took aim at the billionaire businesswoman as she took to her Instagram Stories to share pictures and clips of the free products she had recently been sent.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a photo of a customised $2,000 trench coat from Burberry - that she was sent for free - which featured her post-divorce initials ‘K.K’ on it.
Kim was sent the gift by Burberry’s creative director Riccardo Tisci, who called “a valued member of the Burberry community.”
She also posted snaps of other free gifts she’d been sent, which prompted a furious backlash on Reddit.
Irked fans took to the site to vent their frustration over Kim “boasting” about the freebies, and called her out for flashing the products when she had told others to work harder to achieve success.
“Kim showing off all her free s**t. Maybe if you got your f**king a** up and worked you could get free s**t, too,” one fired.
“Is she really showing off all this stuff NOW? Come on!” another wrote.
It’s not the first time the reality star has been branded “out of touch” by critics, as she was blasted for jetting to a private island with friends and family to celebrate her 40th birthday in 2020.
