Kim Kardashian hid her daughter away in a bathroom and begged a lawyer to ask her to leave her alone to study in bizarre scenes during a live interview.
The 39-year-old mother-of-four was discussing the impact of coronavirus in American prisons with defence attorney Jessica Jackson when she made the unusual confession.
Kim – who shot to fame in 2007 when a sex tape starring her with then-boyfriend Ray J leaked – has surprised all her critics by evolving from a reality star to studying to become a lawyer and fight to reform the prison system in the USA.
However balancing her studies with being a mother to four while in coronavirus lockdown seems to be leaving Kim slightly frazzled – and she begged Jessica to help control her children as they wrapped up a conversation they were sharing via Instagram Live Stories on Friday.
“I’m hiding in every corner that I can get to sneak away and study,” Kim groaned as she discussed the difficulty of finding the time to commit to her studies while isolating in her mansion with children North, six, Saint, four, Chicago, two and 11-month-old Psalm.
“I am going to put you on a call with my kids later so you can tell them that it is very serious that mommy has to study and to give me the space to do that, please,” Kim begged.
Jessica agreed to support her friend – before asking Kim about her eldest child, daughter North.
“She’s quiet right now in my bathroom so I am going to let her be,” the reality star said.
She then revealed her plan to fool her daughter into leaving her alone, saying: “I can sit here and study afterwards and let her think that I’m still on a live chat so she leaves me alone.”
During their discussion about the impact COVID-19 is having in American jails, Kim and Jessica urged fans and followers to support a petition to make American law makers improve the treatment of those incarcerated in cramped conditions in the USA.
The ladies expressed fears that coronavirus could spread rapidly through American jails due to inmates living in close quarters.
They also discussed the risk of coronavirus being spread outside the jails if prison workers did not have sufficient protective equipment and then go about their day outside of work.
“We don’t want Prisons to turn into morgues,” Jessica said.
