Photos of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have quietly vanished from Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s social media posts celebrating Jenner’s lavish 70th birthday party.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among the celebrity guests invited to the James Bond-themed bash, which took place at billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s sprawling Beverly Hills mansion on Saturday, November 8.
Both Kardashian, 45, and her mother Jenner initially shared glimpses of the glittering night on Instagram, with images showing them posing alongside the royal couple. However, the photos have since been deleted from both of their accounts without explanation.
The Standard has contacted representatives for the Kardashian-Jenner family and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for comment.
A source told People magazine that Meghan, 44, and Harry, 41, “arrived hand-in-hand and looked very happy,” describing the couple as relaxed and affectionate throughout the evening.
“Meghan was glowing in a black wrap-style dress that showed off one leg. She looked very glamorous and fit the theme perfectly. Harry looked sharp in a tuxedo with a poppy for Remembrance Day,” the insider added.
Markle later claimed she didn’t wear a poppy on Remembrance weekend “because they’re not widely available,” after fans noticed the absence of the traditional symbol on her outfit.
The Sussexes’ appearance marked one of their most high-profile outings in recent months and underscored Meghan’s growing connections in Hollywood’s elite social circles. The Duchess is said to have developed friendly ties with the Kardashian-Jenner family in recent years, previously sending them products from her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

Jenner, meanwhile, pulled out all the stops for her milestone celebration. Around 300 guests attended the 007-inspired soirée, which was decked out with red velvet drapes, golden chandeliers, and casino tables, with live music provided by Uptown Funk hit-maker Bruno Mars.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch is no stranger to a themed bash — her 60th birthday was inspired by The Great Gatsby — but this year’s event took extravagance to another level. Reports suggest the noise from the star-studded party was so loud that local residents contacted police.
The glittering guest list included Jenner’s five daughters — Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie — as well as Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Adele, Tyler Perry, Vin Diesel and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Guests were reportedly treated to a gourmet dinner, Bond-inspired cocktails, and a surprise fireworks display to close out the night.
It wasn’t the Sussexes’ only outing that evening. Earlier in the night, Meghan and Harry also attended the annual Baby2Baby Gala at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, where their close friend Serena Williams was honoured for her philanthropic work. The gala, which supports mothers and children living in poverty, is one of the biggest charity events on the Los Angeles social calendar.
