Kim Kardashian has been accused of copying Kourtney after she and Pete Davidson make their not-so-secret relationship official.
The 41-year-old businesswoman was criticised for picking an "edgy" boyfriend with tattoos and a quirky style just like her sister's new fiancé Travis Barker.
Snaps of Kim and Pete holding hands emerged just days after Pete joined a family photo where he modelled Kim's SKIMS pyjamas.
But fans were quick to lay into Kim, who filed for divorce from Kayne West in February after a seven year marriage.
"Travis & Kourtney, MGK & Megan Fox, Kim & Pete. It's like one publicist went, 'let's put tattoo guy with glam girl' and called it a day," one person wrote.
Another said: "Kim Kardashian couldn't let Kourtney have all the shine so she grabbed Pete Davidson".
Making a reference to the 'army pants and flip flops' line in Mean Girls, one person said: "I saw Kourtney Kardashian dating a skinny white boy with tattoos. So I started dating a skinny white boy with tattoos."
Another tweet posted two pictures of Kourtney and Megan Fox with their partners and said: "Kim Kardashian really said I want one too and started dating Pete Davidson."
The 41-year-old businesswoman and Saturday Night Live funnyman were seen laughing together as they walked through a car park in Palm Springs.
Pete, who still seemed to be wearing the trousers of the pyjamas his new girlfriend designed, wore black nail varnish and long yellow socks, covering some of his leg tattoos.
Kim wore loose grey tracksuit bottoms over a white leotard and controversially teamed the outfit with a pair of YEEZY trainers - a detail that did not go unseen by outraged Kanye fans.
A flutter of memes followed with one person saying: "Kim Kardashian out here walking hand in hand with Pete Davidson, wearing Yeezy's! Someone check on Kanye maaaan."
Another wrote: "Might be the greatest betrayal since Scar murdered Mufasa."
Despite the backlash, Kim seems to be happy around the 28-year-old and that his comedy skills are what attracts her.
"Kim lights up when she’s around Pete,” a source told Us Weekly, adding: "Their chemistry is off the charts and getting stronger each passing day.”
“No one can remember seeing her smile and laugh so much around a guy,” the insider explains. “He just has this ability to hold Kim’s total attention and have her in stitches with his hilariously dry sense of humor. He’s so down to earth and humble, which she really digs.”
