Russia summit: North Korea's Kim Jong-un meets with Vladimir Putin

North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un is holding a press conference with Russia's President Vladimir Putin in the far east Russian city of Vladivostok ahead of their summit Thursday.

Details: Kremlin Aide Yuri Ushakov said earlier the focus of Thursday's meeting "will be on a political and diplomatic solution to the nuclear problem on the Korean Peninsula," according to AFP. He hoped Russia would "consolidate the positive trends" stemming from President Trump’s meetings with Kim, AP reports. Their Hannoi summit ended without a deal in February.
