Kim Cattrall snubs Sex and the City reunion and admits she's had 'quite a week'

Kim Cattrall has broken her silence after it was revealed that Sex and the City is returning without her.

The TV star, who played Samantha Jones in SATC, has admitted she had "quite a week".

It comes after Carrie Bradshaw actress Sarah Jessica Parker shared a teaser for the SATC reboot, which will include herself, Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York), but not Kim.

She posted a picture of herself on her Twitter account on a snowy walk through the woods as she leaned back against a tree and smiled for the camera.

"Breathe..." Kim, 64, captioned the photo.

One of her followers responded: "Such a beautiful picture. The environment appears serene and tranquil."

Kim replied: "Quite a week."

Her last appearance in the Sex and the City franchise came in the second film.

Since then there have been countless calls for another reboot but Kim has ruled out returning.

She has had a very public feud with Sarah, which exploded when Sarah reached out after Kim's brother died.

Kim posted on Instagram : "You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona."

Last week Sarah shared a teaser clip of the next installment in the franchise.

The video showed scenes of New York as Carrie typed on her keyboard.

Sarah captioned the post: "I couldn’t help but wonder... where are they now? X, SJ."
