Kilwinning Rangers kick off summer recruitment with double swoop

Kilwinning Rangers have kicked-off a summer recruitment drive with a double swoop.

Midfielder David Ramsay has signed from Kilbirnie Ladeside while full-back Adam Caldwell makes the move from Girvan where he was recently voted Players' Player of the Year.

And they could be the first in a flurry of new arrivals.

Kilwinning boss Chris Strain, who has his sights sets on six new additions ahead of a debut season in the new West of Scotland League said he had been tracking the duo for some time.

Buffs supporters might remember Ramsay - he scored the only goal as Kilbirnie beat Kilwinning 1-0  in a scrappy Abbey Park affair last March.

"Both are good, hungry players at the right age who fit the profile of boys we want to bring to the club," said Strain.
