Hurlford battled back from behind to leave Abbey Park with all three points thanks to a fantastic defensive performance.
Kilwinning took the lead through Gary Fleming after just four minutes before quick-fire goals from former Buffs man Lewis Morrison and James Hilton gave Darren Henderson's men all three points.
It was Hurlford's last ever visit to Abbey Park as Kilwinning will be moving to the town's Community Sports Club.
Buffs took the game by the scruff early as Gary Fleming latched onto a headed knockdown by Mark Curragh and smashed past Ally Brown after four minutes.
And just 60 seconds later Ford were level when Lewis Morrison score against his former club with a fantastic strike across Nicky Hogarth’s goal and in off the post.
And after 15 minutes Darren Henderson’s men went ahead thanks to a solo effort from James Hilton who picked the ball up on the wing and danced past Jamie Whyte who failed to challenge - and Hilton picked his spot and finished well in the corner.
The Buffs should have pulled level after 26 minutes, but Curragh’s goal-bound effort was spectacularly blocked off the line by Richie McKillen.
Four minutes into the second-half Kilwinning had a great chance, but Craig Pettigrew fired his shot over the crossbar.
Buffs had a decent chance after 75 minutes when Ryan Nisbet fired a shot in, but Ally Brown saved well to knock it out for a corner.
Brown was caught in no man’s land three minutes later as he was dispossessed out on the wing, but Fleming’s shot went out for a throw-in.
