The lounge of a Kilwinning pub could be transformed into a takeaway.
Radical plans for the Cosy Corner in Pathfoot have been lodged with North Ayrshire Council.
The proposal would see the boozer's existing lounge space converted into a hot food carry-out with internal alterations made to the building to form a new entrance and kitchen.
The takeway would be accessed from the watering hole's car park with a ramp in place, according to planning documents submitted to the local authority.
Applicant Mingyan He is asking planners to consider a change of use for the building to allow him to push ahead with the plans.
The planning application was validated on Friday, April 22 and is now pending consideration.
