A new date has been set for Kilwinning's Christmas lights switch-on.
Organisers Promoting Kilwinning say the popular event will now go ahead on Thursday, December 2.
The festive celebration had been due to take place last night but was postponed earlier this week due to circumstances outwith the group's control.
Now revellers can look forward to a rescheduled event in the town's Main Street with plenty of entertainment on show.
The fun will kick off at 4.30pm with the big switch-on happening at around 7pm.
There will be a Santa's Grotto, on-stage entertainment, fairground rides and community stalls for everyone to enjoy.
Meanwhile, surrounding shops will also be open later than usual.
