Kiltwalkers put their best feet forward to support Wishaw charity

Around 200 people put their best feet forward to help a Wishaw charity at this year’s Kiltwalk.

Dozens of people turned out and completed the 22, 15 and six mile trek for Les Hoey’s DreamMaker Foundation.

Les completed his fifth Kiltwalk with several DreamMaker kids also making it round the course.

Our reporter Lynn Love, River City stars Stephen Purdon and Lesley Hart and the Pulse Radio breakfast team were amongst those walking for the charity which provides support for children with life-limiting illnesses.

Angela Cook from the DreamMaker Foundation said: “We are so humbled by the support we had on Sunday and hope we have pictures of everyone who walked for our wee DreamMakers.

“Thank you and well done to everyone who took part.”

More than 12,000 people took part in this year’s Kiltwalk.
