The Kiltwalk returns to Balloch this weekend, with the ever-popular fundraiser taking place for the first time since 2019.
After seeing in-person events axed by the pandemic, organisers are expecting a bumper crowd to pull on their walking boots for the journey from Glasgow Green to Balloch Castle.
The four Scottish Kiltwalks - in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen - allow people to raise funds for the charities and causes they care about, which receive a 50 percent top-up from Sir Tom Hunter’s Foundation.
More than £1m has been raised for CHAS, who run Balloch's Robin House Hospice through the Kiltwalk, with hundreds of charities across the country benefiting.
In 2019 more than £3.5million was raised for a range of charities and organisations with many walkers matching their kilts with a t-shirt highlighting their chosen good cause.
A total of 13,000 people made it to Balloch, including Judy Murray, Jackie Bird, actor Tom Urie and Sean Batty.
