Kilsyth Rangers confirm West of Scotland League stance

Kilsyth Rangers have confirmed that they will take part in the West of Scotland League this season.

The club issued a statement earlier this week to say they will play in Conference C of the new set-up, despite no promotion or relegation being confirmed by league bosses.

Clubs have until 8pm this evening to opt in or out of the new set-up, but Kilsyth issued a statement earlier this week to say they were taking part.

It read: "In these unprecedented times and with all of the uncertainty around at the moment, the club can confirm we will be taking our place for the upcoming WoSFL season in Conference C as planned.

"After discussions between players, management and committee members, it was decided that this was the best course of action for the club.

"Unfortunately with the current government restrictions still in place for the foreseeable future it is sadly inevitable the campaign will begin without fans being present.

"We look forward to welcoming you all back to Duncansfield when restrictions are removed. Keep safe!"
