Kilos of suspected controlled substance hidden behind fake wall

ACT Policing has seized a significant amount of cocaine and MDMA

A "significant amount" of drugs and cash have been seized from multiple residences in Braddon and Bonner.

Cocaine and MDMA with an estimated street value of $70,000 were located at the properties on Friday, according to ACT Policing.

Police also uncovered $15,000 in cash, a machete and approximately 1000 rounds of ammunition, after executing a search of the properties.

Another 2.5 kilograms of what is believed to be a controlled substance was also seized after it was located behind a false wall. Forensic testing to determine what the substance is was under way this week.

ACT Policing advised they had spoken to people linked to those locations and their enquiries were ongoing.

Anyone with information about the sale and supply of drugs in the ACT should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
