A Kilmaurs B&B is one of only three establishments in Scotland to win a top industry award.
The Beeches has been crowned one of the best hotels in the country after being handed a Good Hotel Award 2020.
And the team behind the business — Margaretta Richards and Phil Hunt — say they are honoured to have won the prestigious accolade.
Margaretta told the Kilmarnock Standard: “Phil and I are honoured and absolutely thrilled to receive the prestigious Good Hotel Award 2020.
“We are passionate about providing 5-star customer service and will continue to work very hard to ensure our guests have a fantastic stay with us.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank everyone who voted — we’re over the moon!”
Published earlier this month, the Good Hotel Awards recognise the hard-working teams who strive for excellence within their field.
A spokesperson for the awards said: “A record number of premises brought a record number of entrants and winners.
“Some 10,277 votes were cast across our awards for the finalists by readers, customers and fans alike.
“Based upon customer feedback, nominations and votes, The Beeches B&B, Kilmaurs have demonstrated exceptional levels of room quality, service and value when compared to our industry benchmarks in your category.
“We are delighted to confirm that The Beeches B&B Kilmaurs have made it into our annual Good Hotel Awards and have attained the accolade: 2020 Good Hotel Award Winner.”
