Kilmarnock woman issues plea to trace her dachshund after it was attacked by another dog

A Kilmarnock woman has issued a plea for information after her pet was attacked by another dog.

Dave the dachshund vanished after the altercation on London Road last night at around 7.30pm.

Now the one-year-old's owner Sophie Woods has issued a desperate plea for the public to look out for the miniature chocolate sausage dog.

Dave's heartbroken owner is even offering a substantial reward for his safe return.

She said: "We are so desperate to get Dave back home safe and sound.

"We cannot bear the thought of never seeing our little man again.

"We are now offering a substantial reward for finding him.

"Please get in contact if you have any information on our little chocolate miniature dachshund called Dave."

Sophie added: "He was getting attacked by a dog not on a lead.

"And he managed to slip out his harness and just ran away because he was terrified as the dog was much bigger."

If you have any information, please call Sophie on 07889 611584.
