Kilmarnock v Rangers team news as sides get set for huge clash

Kilmarnock are getting set to take on Rangers tonight in a huge Premiership clash.

Both sides have a number of players likely to be out but will be hoping to have enough to gain the victory.

Kilmarnock are without keeper Laurentiu Branescu who is suspended after he was sent-off against Hearts last Wednesday and defender Kirk Broadfoot is a doubt with a shoulder injury.

Stuart Findlay (hamstring) and Chris Burke (foot) failed to make the Aberdeen match at the weekend but trained on Monday, while Innes Cameron and Adam Frizzell are still on their way back from injuries.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard hopes that he will have Borna Barisic and Ryan Jack available for the game.

Left-back Barisic has a 50-50 chance of playing after hurting a thigh muscle against Hamilton but will be given until the last minute to prove his fitness. Jack, however, is ready to return after injuring his calf against Hearts last month.

Florian Kamberi also returns to the Light Blues squad after he was cup-tied for the 4-1 win over Accies but Jermain Defoe (calf) and Filip Helander (foot) remain out.
