The Ayrshire derby will kick off the new Championship league season as Ayr United head to Rugby Park to face Kilmarnock.
League chiefs confirmed this morning that the massive clash will act as the curtain-raiser to the new campaign on Saturday, July 31.
United will make the short trip up the A77 to visit their newly-relegated rivals before facing them on home soil on Tuesday, October 26.
The two will also meet back at Rugby Park on Sunday, January 2 before facing off for a fourth time at Somerset on Saturday, March 12.
It has been 28 years since the clubs last met on league duty when a 1-1 draw was played out at Rugby Park in March 1993.

The last meeting between the sides came in the Betfred Cup group stages in July 2017 when Andy Geggan's first-half header secured Ayr a 1-0 win at Somerset Park.
Killie beat Ayr 3-1 in a Scottish Cup replay in the sides’ last clash at Rugby Park in January 2009.
Bryan Prunty controversially gave the Honest Men the lead when he used his arm to guide a long ball forward past Killie keeper Alan Combe.
However, Killie roared back in the second half and, despite having Spanish striker David Fernandez sent-off, prevailed thanks to defender Simon Ford’s brace and a Mehdi Taouil strike.
