Alex Bruce has returned to training with Kilmarnock ahead of his expected re-signing.
He has joined up with Angelo Alessio's men and looks set to pen a one-year deal before the Europa League clash with Connah's Quay Nomads tomorrow.
He won't be eligible for selection for the game against the Nomads, but he has already been spotted wearing the No4 kit that he wore last season at training today.
He made four starts for the Ayrshire side last season including games at Ibrox and Celtic Park, as well as a substitute appearance at home to Celtic.
Had the deal gone through earlier, Bruce would have been squaring off against Connah's Quay Nomads defender John Disney who is his brother in law.
