Oli Shaw admits he's relishing the chance to fire Kilmarnock "back to where they belong".
The Ayrshire side's new No 9 is set to make his debut against Falkirk in the SPFL Trust Trophy today – and he says he has his eyes on the league and cup double.
Former Ross County ace Shaw has struggled for a consistent run of games wherever he's been. Now he's keen to show everyone what he can do after boss Tommy Wright finally got his man.
Shaw, 23, said: “I am delighted to get it all sorted out. My agent told me about it and I had a few conversations with the manager and as soon as I heard I wanted to come.
“It’s a fresh start for me, I’ll be playing football and I’ll hopefully help Kilmarnock get back to where they belong, the Premiership. Tommy's tried to sign me a few times before at other clubs, so that was a big factor – it’s nice to feel wanted.
“I feel like I’ll get the game time I want here too, you need to play games to score goals and that’s what I’m hoping to do, that’s what I want to bring to Killie."

He added: “I had a good season last year, I maybe didn’t play as much as I wanted to but finishing as their top scorer was a good moment.
“But the games then started coming again and I wasn’t getting much time on the pitch, I don’t really have a reason for that, the manager played with one upfront and that’s just how he wanted to play.
“There’s no hard feelings, but when the opportunity came to move to Killie I wanted to grab it with both hands."
Shaw admits the focus is getting back to the Premiership – but he would love to bag a cup win too.
He said: “It’s an exciting prospect, coming off the back of last season I was fighting relegation, so coming here is a different challenge for me.
“I am looking forward to it, that’s another thing that made me want to come here as we can hopefully win the league.
“Everyone wants to beat us this year, and that will only bring tough games.
“Teams will try and stop us winning the league, we know there’s going to be tough challenges ahead but it’s something we will embrace."
He added: “Any cup competition we are in we want to try and win.
“We know it’s going to be a tough game against Falkirk, but we are ready for it and hopefully we can get a result."
