A charity single is being released for the family of the tragic Kilmarnock stabbing victims to ‘give them back some hope’.
An emotional performance of ‘Over the Rainbow’ is being recorded in a desperate bid to help loved ones of Emma Robertson Coupland, 39, and her daughter Nicola Robertson, 24.
It comes after the mum and daughter were brutally killed by Emma's ex-partner Steven Robertson while they worked last Thursday.

NHS worker Emma was stabbed outside Crosshouse Hospital around 7.45pm before he stormed to his step-daughter's work on Portland Street and killed her 20 minutes later.
Steven Robertson died after crashing his car into a tree minutes later.
Now Saltcoats christian charity, Come Back to God, want to help the rest of the family by selling a song which was performed by opera singer Rodger Paterson, 36, at their balloon release memorial on Friday night.
They are donating all profits to the family to ‘help them process their grief’ and ‘honour them for the key workers they were’.
Charity organiser Emily Paterson, 40, said the song will be available on Thursday.
She added: “I really want to give the family back some hope they really need it right now to know things will get better for them.
“It is so hard because of the devastation that has been caused but it is so important to remember them as heroes and help the family.
“Emma and Nicola were two incredible woman who cared about other people’s happiness.
“Everyone remembers them for always having a smile on their faces even though they worked through the full pandemic.
“We want to remember them for that."
Emily came up with the idea for a charity single while listening to her brother, who usually performs in London, sing while kneeling beside the victims pictures at their memorial service.
The charity had reached out to the family after hearing the tragic news and offered to help plan the balloon release on Friday.
She then decided to take things further by sharing Roger's touching cover for the family to 'show the family love'.
Emily explained: “The memorial was beautiful on Friday night, it was really so special.
“We contributed pictures and music to help the family process their grief and honour Emma and Nicola for the key workers they were.
“But at balloon memorial I realised we all actually really need hope right now and wanted to do more.
“The plan is to sell the single for around £2.99 from next Thursday and give all the money to the family's Gofundme page.
“I wish I could find the words that could make things better for the family but it can’t be done.
“All we can do is support them and show them love right now, and thats what the single will do.”
A fundraising drive to support the family of a Scots mum and daughter has reached more than £25,000 just a week after the double tragedy.
Allana King had initially set out to raise just £1,000 in support of Emma Robertson Coupland, 39, and her daughter, Nicole Anderson, 24, following their deaths in Kilmarnock.
