Kilmarnock's season ticket count stands at over 1700 – just seven days after being released.
Despite being relegated to the Championship, the current total of 1713 is a record figure for the first week of sales.
Club staff are hoping sales continue at this pace with their sights set on a record-breaking season.
Speaking exclusively to the Kilmarnock Standard, club director Phyllis McLeish said: “We didn’t expect to go a full season without fans, but it is what it is.
“Hopefully there’s light at the end of the tunnel now and we will see fans back soon.
“I think initially it will only be season ticket holders due to restrictions, but I am hopeful at some point during the season we will be able to get people through the gates paying as well.”
She added: “We are off to a good start with season ticket sales, it has been really nice to see that the fans have picked themselves up.
“They are thinking ‘let’s get on with this and help the club’ and that’s what they’ve done, it’s great to see that.”
Visit the club's website for more information on season tickets, as the loyalty discount period is still live, along with the finance option.
