The Galleon Centre pool has been closed due to unforeseen circustances.
Leisure bosses said last night at around 5.45pm that the Kilmarnock pool would be closing and issued an apology to customers.
At around 11.30pm last night they also stated that it would remain closed today.
The initial message read: "Due to unforeseen circumstances our swimming pool will be closed tonight.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
The updated position said: "Swimming pool will remain closed tomorrow [Wednesday, November 13].
"We will update again, when it's ready to re-open."
Bosses also said that all school and private group lessons in the pool have been cancelled as a result of the closure.
