Kilmarnock road sealed off as emergency services deal with incident

Emergency services are dealing with an incident in Kilmarnock this evening.

Hurlford Road, near the town's fire station, has been sealed off as crews carry out enquiries.

It's unclear exactly what has happened at this time, but at least one vehicle appears to be on its roof according to an eyewitness.

The person at the scene said: "There's quite a heavy police presence, I'm not sure exactly what happened but it seems to be serious.

"I saw a car on its roof when I drove by, I am not sure if any other vehicles were involved, but whoever it is I hope they are okay."

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
