A Kilmarnock road remains closed this afternoon following a serious car crash.
Police sealed off the B7038 near Ayr Road following a two-vehicle crash shortly before 12.45pm.
Officials have no details of injuries at this stage.
But the road has remained closed to allow officers to investigate the scene and local diversions are in place.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Around 12.45pm on Sunday, June 28, officers were called to the B7038 in Kilmarnock following a serious crash involving two vehicles.
"The road is currently closed as officers investigate the circumstances and local diversions are in place.
"There are no details on injuries at this time."
