The closure of a major Kilmarnock road has been causing havoc for motorists.
The exit to Green Street - which runs alongside the viaduct - is blocked off on the one way system, meaning that East George Street car park in unaccessible to the public and traders.
Road works are currently in place on the corner of Portland Street and West George Street.
A diversion takes motorists to Black's Bar and down Dean Lane to join the one-way system but the diversion does not provide access to the East George Street car park.
One eye-witness said: "The roadworks started yesterday and it took me around 40 minutes to get under the viaduct and on to Wellington Street when I was going home last night. It was ridiculous."
