A number of Kilmarnock properties have been left without power as they prepare for their Christmas dinner this afternoon.
Homes across Bellfield and beyond are powerless and house alarms are going off all over the area.
Plenty of homes in and around Bellfield are affected as families prepare festive meals.
A resident in Bellfield said: “The power is out across the place, it’s awful.
“There are alarms going mental all over the place.
“Luckily we have just finished our meals so we aren’t affected as bad as others.
“Some of my friends messaged me to say they were in the middle of cooking their dinner which is sad.”
Houses across Kilmarnock have had power problems with lights flickering and power going off and back on.
