A Kilmarnock pub has reopened after having a makeover worth a quarter of a million pounds.
The new-look First Edition was launched on Burns Night with the star attraction being a giant 85” HD TV in the bar.
The layout of the pub remains the same but 11 bookable booths have been introduced, each with their own individual TV screens.
The beer garden has also had a refresh with three TVs installed outside, ready for the warmer weather.
First Edition will host a new quiz night every Monday and will open until midnight on a Thursday for those starting the weekend early.
Pints of Carlsberg, Tennent's and Strongbow are priced at £2.50.
The pub has introduced party bowls and a selection of cocktails including the famous pornstar martini, classic Singapore sling and a mojito.
Low and no-alcohol choices are also available, including Gordon’s Ultra Low G&T and Cedar’s zero per cent gin.
On the food menu, punters can build their own burgers or try out chicken wings or fish and chips.
Vegetarian and plant-based dishes also make an appearance with a meat-free tikka masala and meat-free sausage rolls added to the menu.
Cheryl Francis, general manager of the First Edition, said: “This exciting investment has totally transformed the look and feel of our pub, and we are excited to unveil it later this week.
“Whether it’s a daytime pint to watch the sport or coming to enjoy our weekend sharers with friends and family.
“We’re known for being the go-to destination at the weekend and we’ll be back better than ever to deliver the best Saturday night in town.”
