Kilmarnock police spark appeal after car left smashed up by sick vandal

Kilmarnock police are appealing for information after a vehicle was vandalised in the Bellfield/Riccarton area.

A car's windscreen was smashed at a property on Witchknowe Avenue in the town, and officers are now asking for anyone with information to come forward.

A mallet was left behind at the scene (pictured) and it's believed that was used to damage the car.

The incident is believed to have happened between 1pm on April 14 and 9am on April 15.

A police spokesman confirmed that the car had a smashed windscreen and the car was also scratched.

Anyone with information should to contact PC Keyes-Parkinson with the crime reference of 0711 of the 15th.
