Kilmarnock players join in on fun at Kilmarnock's Park School Christmas party

A Kilmarnock nightclub generously played host to a school’s Christmas disco.

Bakers on Fowlds Street welcomed staff and pupils from Park School to celebrate the festive period in style.

Kilmarnock captain Gary Dicker and fellow players Rory McKenzie popped along to grab selfies with the kids and join in on the fun.

Hazell Patrick, who helped organise the night, said: “It was a great night for the kids and all of us, we have a lot of people we want to thank.

“I’d like to thank Mikey and Paul from Bakers for allowing us to have this night, as well as Gareth who previously owned Bakers and allowed us to do this.

“I’d also like to thank Kerri Murray and DJ Anthony Sinclair for donating their time as well as Ritchie the door steward and the Kilmarnock players.

“Also thanks to Sharon Govan from Morrisons for helping out.”

Bakers co-owner Mikey Lennon said: “We are delighted to have been able to help out, it’s a great thing.

“We love giving them a night out in here because it’s something a bit different rather than a school hall.

“They are welcome back any time at all.”
