Kilmarnock Masonic Hall Christmas campaign 'inundated' with gifts as organisers appeal for food donations

Kilmarnock Masonic Hall's Christmas Appeal has been a great success once again.

The organisation has been ‘inundated’ with gifts ready to dish out to families in need this festive season.

However, they say they would still like to receive donations of long-life food ahead of the hall being opened next week for people to come in and take away what they need.

Organiser Christine Oliver thanked everyone who has contributed so far.

She said: “We’ve been absolutely inundated with donations and have a huge mountain of toys and games ready for families who are struggling this Christmas.

“But we would still appreciate long-life food items.”

The hall, on Kilmarnock’s London Road, will be open between 11am and 4pm on Wednesday, December 8 and Thursday, December 9 for people who need a helping hand this festive season.

For more information or to arrange to drop-off or donation, please contact Christine on 07799 353197.
