A 33-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with the murder of Stewart Clelland.
William Nimmo was also charged with the theft of a motor vehicle when he appeared in private at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court earlier.
Nimmo, of Kilmarnock, made no plea was remanded in custody for further examination.
Mr Clelland found in his flat in Wallace Street, Galston at around 6.20am in the morning on Wednesday, July 24.
