Kilmarnock are hoping to sign Brandon Pierrick ahead of the transfer deadline tonight, the Kilmarnock Standard understands.
The Crystal Palace winger was not included in their Under-23s match today, and Killie are vying to sign the promising youngster.
He has made two Premier League appearances for the Eagles, his debut coming against Norwich City as a substitute and then a late appearance against Liverpool.
He also started in an FA Cup match against Derby County last January which ended in a 1-0 defeat.
Kilmarnock parted company with their manager Alex Dyer on Saturday – but head of football operations James Fowler has made it clear he is still working hard to bring in fresh faces ahead of the midnight deadline.
Forward Connor Shields, who is currently starring at Championship side Queen of the South, is also on the radar of the Rugby Park outfit.
Meanwhile, Killie will begin their new era after Dyer tomorrow night with a Premiership showdown at home to Celtic.
Fowler, assistant manager Andy Millen and captain Gary Dicker will oversee the game.
