Kilmarnock are set to swoop for two Raith Rovers stars, the Kilmarnock Standard can exclusively reveal.
Our sister site Lanarkshire Live Sport revealed yesterday that Kieran MacDonald is on the radar of the Ayrshire side, and we can today reveal that Daniel Armstrong is also interesting Killie.
MacDonald, a left back, has been working as an engineer, but feels at 27 it's time to leave and head for full-time football.
However with a year left on his deal a fee would need to be paid to the Kirkcaldy side.
Meanwhile Armstrong, a 23-year-old winger, has announced he is leaving Raith and Killie are at the front of the queue to sign him.
Announcing his departure on his Twitter page he said: "Time to move on, loved every minute of my time again at Raith Rovers.
"Promotion back to the Championship, third-place finish, play-off semis, been the best time I've had so far.
"Can't thank everyone involved with the club enough, the best people in every department and the fans. All the best."
