Kilmarnock interested in striker Federico Rasic as Alex Dyer looks to add to squad

Kilmarnock are interested in signing Federico Rasic, the Kilmarnock Standard can exclusively reveal.

The Argentine striker, who also holds Croatian citizenship, is in town as boss Alex Dyer looks to add to his squad.

He was most recently at Pafos in Cyprus and he has had spells in both Argentina and Russia.

Kilmarnock were hoping to add to their squad on transfer deadline day but head of football operations James Fowler admitted that a number of deals fell through, including for ex-players Youssouf Mulumbu and Aaron Tshibola.

Injuries and suspension have left Dyer's squad looking thin at times with the 54-year-old relying on youth players to fill the bench.

The Kilmarnock Standard understands a deal for Jordon Mutch is now off the table as his fitness wasn't up to scratch to win a deal with the Premiership side.
