Kilmarnock firm announces plans to create 100 additional jobs in the town

A Kilmarnock firm is planning to create 100 more jobs.

Webhelp, based at Rowallan Business Park, is to recruit more staff over the next few months, bosses confirmed earlier this week.

The announcement was made as the firm unveiled a colony of 120,000 bees at the site.

Natasha Sanders, senior operations manager at the Kilmarnock plant, told the Kilmarnock Standard : “The bees at our Kilmarnock site won’t be short of company as we plan to recruit around 100 full-time staff over the next six to seven weeks.

“Our new bee colonies demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and we hope they will attract staff that are just as passionate as we are about caring for our local environment and making Webhelp as green a place as possible to work.

“We are all buzzing to meet our new recruits.”
