Kilmarnock fans heading to home games to get half-price travel for new season

Kilmarnock fans can score a saving as a partnership between the club and bus giant Stagecoach West Scotland moves into the fast lane.

Supporters heading to matches at Rugby Park can enjoy half-price travel as part of a deal which has been extended into this season.

Fans can claim 50 per cent off Dayrider bus tickets by showing their season ticket or brief for that day’s game.

The company’s Fraser Smith said: “We are delighted to continue to work with Kilmarnock FC to provide supporters with a sustainable travel alternative to using their car to get to matches.

“The offer will be valid all day on home matchdays, with supporters able to make as many journeys as necessary on the day.

“Our 11 service operating on Portland Road every 10 minutes makes travel to games easy, cost-effective and hassle-free.”

Killie director Cathy Jamieson said: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Stagecoach West Scotland, who have helped to bring fans from all across the county and beyond to cheer on the team.

“We want to get as many supporters to Rugby Park as possible.

“We were really encouraged by last season’s uptake and hopefully many more can take advantage of this great offer during the 2019/20 season.”
