Derek McInnes has insisted there has been no contact between Hearts and Kilmarnock - amid speculation he is the frontrunner to take over at Tynecastle.
The Kilmarnock manager responded to links after his side secured their Scottish Premiership status with a victory over Dundee.
McInnes has stated he has not held any talks over a switch to Hearts and is not aware of an approach to Kilmarnock chiefs for permission to discuss a deal.
McInnes told BBC: "I hear all the speculation but there's been no contact from club to club as far as I'm aware.
"I've got a brilliant relationship with the club, Billy Bowie in particular, Billy, I'm sure, would be the first if there was contact.

"It's hard for me to say anything other than that. The fact there's been no contact form club to club.
"There's been a lot of speculation, I get that, but we've had far too much to occupy ourselves with. My full focus has been trying to make sure we're alright.
"I love this club, it's given me so many highlights and I'm really enjoying days like today. They make it worthwhile. If anything's to change with that it's not in my control."
Asked to confirm there has been no approach or any discussions over a move with him, he added: "Not at all. I'm more than happy here, there has been no contact and I speak to Billy and the club regularly."
