Kilmarnock boss Angelo Alessio admits he is 'angry' and 'disappointed' after Hamilton loss

Angelo Alessio admits he is "angry" and "disappointed" with their 2-0 loss to Hamilton.

His side fell victim to goals from Lewis Smith and George Oakley, and it means Killie are now pointless after two league games.

Alessio said: "I am very angry and disappointed with the result, we conceded two stupid goals.

"At the same time we created a lot of opportunities to score, but a great save and some mistakes cost us, this is football.

"We tried to break them down, I put on three attacking players to try and get goals.

"I asked my team to play wide, we created opportunities, but today it was very difficult to score.

"Now we have a week to prepare for the cup game at home to Hamilton next weekend.

"Today we had control of the match at the beginning, but we conceded with their first chance.

"We moved the ball well, but it was difficult to come back into the match after the red card."
