'Killing the club' - Birmingham City fans protest against owner during Nottingham Forest clash

Birmingham City fans protested against the ownership of their club during today's match against Nottingham Forest.

Shortly after Tiago Silva opened the scoring for the Reds 18 minutes into the Championship clash at St Andrew's, fans behind Forest's goal unfurled a banner aimed at the club's chief executive officer Xuandong Ren.

Blues, who are currently in 18th place, saw deals to bring Wolverhampton Wanderers pair Bright Enobakhare and Renat Dadashov fall through late last night as they looked to secure new faces.

Pep Clotet's side wanted to bring in reinforcements to aid their fight against relegation, with only seven points separating them from Wigan Athletic in the final relegation spot.
