Killing of Sean Little has 'no justification and no place in our society', funeral hears

The killing of shooting victim Sean Little has “no justification and no place in our society”, his funeral heard today.

Hundreds of mourners attended the mass at St Luke the Evangelist Church in Kilmore West, Coolock, this morning.

Fr Gary Darby slammed the “horrific, barbaric, senseless” murder of Little that has devastated the local community.

There was a heavy Garda presence outside the church as the funeral party arrived.

Little, 22, was found with gunshot wounds next to his burning car by Dublin Fire Brigade in a laneway near Balbriggan on May 22.

His pal Jordan Davis, whose funeral took place yesterday, died in a hail of bullets as he walked his four-month old baby near a community centre in Darndale just hours later.

Little was buried in Fingal Cemetery following this morning’s service.
