Killing Eve star Kim Bodnia drops hint about season 3 as he teases character's fate

Spoiler warning for Killing Eve season 2.

Killing Eve season 2 launched in the UK earlier this month, with a huge surprise about one of the characters.

Konstantin Vasiliev, played by actor, Kim Bodnia, appeared to be killed off in the first season by Villanelle.

But in a twist he turned up very much alive, with even the actor left stunned by his major comeback.

Now, the actor has teased to This Morning whether there’s a future for his character beyond the second series.

He refused to give anything away, with Phillip Schofield managing to squeeze out of him that a third season was definite.

It’s then that he hinted hugely he would be involved with the show, suggesting his character would make it.

He quickly threw doubt over this though, claiming he was simply bluffing him and Holly Willoughby.

Asked about the future of the show, he said: “I can’t tell you that,” before adding: “You’re right, season 3 is on the way, the beauty of this show is it was green lighted before it aired.”

He was then grilled over whether he would appear in any future series.

Kim said: “No we don’t know, we don’t know… I don’t know.”

He shocked Phillip with his confession (ITV)

But Phil was left surprised when he suddenly told him he had his season three script.

Within seconds though, Kim began laughing hysterically and claimed he didn’t really, telling Phil: “I don’t have it, it was a joke.”

Viewers will have to watch season 2 in its entirety and listen out for news on where the show will lead.

This Morning airs weekdays and Sundays at 10:30am on ITV.
